Terry BlackTerry Black is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and a graduate of Fair Park High School. He attended Southern University where he obtained an Associate Degree in Elementary Education. Later, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies from Louisiana Tech University. Minister Black is a certified Sign Language Interpreter with certificates in the following: Basic, Advanced and Religious sign language.

 

He has served twenty plus years in the US Army and is currently employed by Caddo Parish School Board as a JROTC Instructor at Fair Park High School.

Minister Black is a member of Greenwood Acres Full Gospel Baptist Church where he serves as the minister of their Deaf an hearing Impaired Ministry.

“Faith comes by hearing; how can they hear without an interpreter” Guided by the hand of the Lord, Minister Black presented his first sermon on Mother’s Day, 2004.
